Quality of life part of that is also taking care of the population with all important facilities. With altogether five kindergartens and one early support facility – all of them in the trusteeship of the Catholic parish church resp. the St.-Anna-Foundation – there is space in a nursery or kindergarten for all the children in Dinklage from the age of three.

From kindergarten to school: Two primary schools - the Kardinal-von-Galen-School and the Höner-Mark-School - offer space for the young pupils. Then there is the boarding school of the Kardinal-von-Galen-House for physically handicapped children and youngsters with several branches (living area) in the city.

Short distances here also: It's not far to the school centre in the middle of the city. Here the secondary schools (Hauptschule and Realschule) are located. The large school also houses the youth music school Romberg with its over pupils from Dinklage and many other villages from the region. Ideal is also that there are two large sports halls in close proximity to the schools; situated at the school centre in in addition the Dinklage indoor-swimming pool. Rounded off is this offer by the outdoor pool and the sports facility at the Jahnstadion, at the Höner-Mark-School (sports hall) and at the von-Galen-School (sports ground, sports hall). There are good transport connections to the secondary schools and educational facilities in the neighbouring cities Lohne (high school, vocational schools) and Vechta (university, independent high schools, vocational schools).

Part of the leisure and sports range are apart from the baths, sports hall and grounds, which are used among others by the different sections of the Dinklage gymnastics' club and by the DLRG-village-group also tennis courts and squash hall, two riding arena resp. riding school and the shooting alleys of the two shooting clubs (Dinklage and Langwege) with diverse offers. Golf courses are available near Dinklage in Lohne-Hopen and in Vechta-Welpe.
